I'm calling it W-ART (for Word Art)-- a new simple naive ‘low tech’ form using only MSWord features, or simple A4 sheet (and scan as per the first one done with white out pen on black card). Always in the spirit of the Zen thing -- i.e. short fast and from the subconscious as much as possible. Less is More!
I usually start with blank new MSWord document at about 75% and in Landscape format (just my preference). Then I add a rectangle to about the size of the screen. (MSWord actually sets out a drawing size & I use that). Then I think of a theme of person or issue and hold it -- but not too hard – in the mind while I sense the physical and emotional centres let the ‘self’ play & come up with something that is just simple and interesting. There is no right or wrong. Then save it. Most are done in about 3-5 minutes. Sometimes I do an emerging series and name then xxxxa.doc ==> xxxxb.doc etc.
Then to get them on the blogg I do the following:
a) Get it centred on the screen.
b) Press the "PrntScn" key (top right on my key board). This saves the screen image.
c) Start up MS Paint.
d) Paste the image via 'edit' function.
e) Then move the image round in paint before you release it so that the section you want of the screen dump is positioned in the upper left hand corner.
f) Choose the cut option (rectangle) in MSPaint and copy just the bit you want.
g) Open a new file (no need to save old one).
h) go to edit and paste.
i) The save this as a JPEG (or similar) file.
j) Then you can upload this using the Blogg function.

Easy!
