The Revalator ... 343-Infestation!

Nice People …!
Well I started with an art work in mind, then came a news item on cluster bombs in Lebanon ... (see link 1) one of my pet hates ... and I did some googling and found a real 'art@work' that I can only dream of emulating: the revalator bush song.

The 'Revalator' is a UTube item and a nice tune too. I like its approach without necessarily endorsing all of the content - e.g. why some black dude has to play the poodle. (see main link & at 2 below)

But its real art@work ...that is ...@war (on ya Picasso!)

But reading about these cluster bombs that are made in the US and other nice places ... (e.g. link 3) and their effects, especially on kids and women etc, one has to ask where the 'axis of evil' really is these days.

Hitting the road all over the place it seems. Shareholders live off the dividends! A great sickness -- which is what the Moslems call the 'satan'... a sickness. Not some Babylonian dualism based equal but opposite force fantasy. (e.g. see Gurdjieff)

Who makes these things? Who designes them to look like toys?
What people sit in little assembly lines and put together these evil things with systems improvement and Total Quality Management (TQM) thinking running through their warped minds?

Nice people? ... I don't think so. At best one could say 'asleep'.

"THE Israeli army's chief of staff has ordered an investigation into the use of cluster bombs during the war against Hezbollah in Lebanon after an initial inquiry indicated that they were fired into civilian areas in violation of army command orders. The cluster munitions are estimated by the UN to have scattered up to 1 million unexploded anti-personnel bomblets across villages and farmland in southern Lebanon. The use of the mostly American-made munitions has prompted a State Department investigation and calls for a halt to the use of the bombs from the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross." ....

"The size and color of the bomblets are unfortunately very attractive, especially to children," the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in a newsletter." http://www.rawa.org/cluster2.htm

“According to UN Afghanistan is one of the top three most-mined countries on the planet. About 200,000 civilians have died and 400,000 have been disabled in mine incidents in Afghanistan. Approximately 6,000 more will lose their lives or limbs every year in the war battered country due to mine incidents, says a report issued by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance to Afghanistan-mine clearance programme (UNOCHA). Afghanistan is infested with 10 Million anti-personnel mines ready to explode the moment anyone stepped on them.”
